About Me…

Welcome — I’m Erica Forte, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, mom to two energetic little boys, dog mom to two lovable pups, a wife, daughter, sister, military family member, and a family member to someone in recovery. While I approach therapy from a nonjudgmental, trauma-informed lens, I believe it’s important that you know the human behind the therapist.

There is no one-size-fits-all therapy. I use a person-centered, strength-based approach to tailor treatment to your unique needs, goals, and nervous system. In our first session, we’ll explore what brought you here and collaboratively create a plan that feels supportive and realistic. My goal is for you to feel understood, empowered, and capable of making meaningful change.

I specialize in perinatal mental health and maternal mental health, supporting individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, matrescence, and the transition to motherhood. I work with clients experiencing postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, identity shifts, overwhelm, and the emotional load of parenting.

I also provide neurodivergent-affirming therapy for adults with ADHD, sensory processing differences, cognitive disabilities, and brain injury. Together, we identify patterns without shame and build practical coping strategies that work with your brain — not against it.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, major life transitions, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, we will work together to untangle what feels overwhelming and create sustainable tools for healing and growth.

You don’t have to do this alone.
